November Digest: New Listings, New Partners and a lot more to come
As usual, time is flying. November is already over when it feels like it just began. Our team has been working hard on improving the exchange and bringing new tokens to you. In this post, you’ll get an overview of what we’ve been up to this month as well as what to look forward to next month.

Good news for all SLP lovers
In November we have added support for the first SLP tokens. We started by making FLEX, the native token of the futures exchange Coinflex available for all our users. Then we continued by listing SAI from sideshift, the innovative coinswap platform. The third SLP token to join our exchange platform was GoCrypto (GoC) by Eligma. Interestingly the token had just migrated from ERC-20 to SLP due to SLP’s superior scalability, which makes it the perfect standard for a utility token that is used for payments. The last Friday of the month was reserved for ACD Coin, a token issued by Alliance Cargo Direct, a subsidiary of the famous airline company ANA Holdings. Coincidentally, ACD Coin has also migrated from ERC-20 to an SLP token earlier this year, following a partnership with bitcoin.com. We are currently working to add more SPICE to the exchange and can’t wait to give more and more ambitious SLP developers a platform to list their tokens.
The premiere of a Mega-Utility-Token: UPT
Timed to coincide with the Blockshow Asia 2019 in Singapore we announced to be the first exchange that would exclusively list the Universal Protocol Alliance Token: UPT. The Universal Protocol Alliance is backed by known blockchain companies that came together to tackle one of the biggest problems in the industry: the lack of interoperability. With the native token, UPT users will gain access to discounted rates and other benefits on all Alliance members respective platforms. Learn more about the listing here. After the listing is before the Airdrop. We’re thrilled to announce that we will be conducting a 5 Mio. UPT Airdrop. Blockshow Asia 2019
When the Who is Who of the Blockchain Industry came together in Singapore to celebrate Blockshow Asia 2019, our team couldn’t miss out. Our CEO Dave Shin and COO Danish Chaudhry joined a lively Blockchain-crowd for the Singapore Fintech week.
To kick off the time in Singapore, we co-hosted a successful meetup with hummingbot, liquid and Zcoin to encourage community-based community mining. Over root beer and Pizza community members from all around the world enthusiastically discussed the necessity of liquidity for the crypto-markets. Thanks to everyone who joined!
On the next day, the team spend hours talking to other Blockchain companies and possible partners. Together with Changelly CEO Eric Benz we took the opportunity to announce on TV that we would be partnering to facilitate access to cryptocurrencies.
After the first day in the spotlight, our COO continued his run. After giving an interview to Blockjournal, he participated in a panel discussion on the topic: “ Digital Assets as a Store of Value: How can we rely on it”. What’s your opinion on digital assets? Do you use them to store value?
New Partners
We’ve not just co-hosted a meetup with hummingbot this month but we are collaborating with them to provide liquidity for a bigger ecosystem. As part of that, we’ve run a successful bounty to source a talented developer who could BUIDL a solid API integration for us. The building is well on the way and we’re positive that we will be able to fully integrate hummingbot within the next month.
As announced during Blockshow Asia together with changelly CEO Eric Benz, we’ve partnered to enable seamless coin swaps and to make SLP tokens available to all changelly users. We were especially pleased with this article by Blockonomi covering our partnership.

What’s next?
For December we have scheduled more attractive campaigns and features to increase trading experience and reward our community. We will be air-dropping up to 5 Mio. UPT tokens to anyone participating in the Airdrop. The conditions will be announced soon across all our channels.
