May was certainly another eventful month in crypto. It also has us wondering, how is it already June?
While Bitcoin was trading near $60k early in the month, after a dip of over 40% to near 30k levels, the price has since recovered, and Bitcoin continues trading sideways between $30k — $40k. Anyone who bought the deepest of the dip is back in the money, and the macroeconomic environment should provide a powerful background for a new rise.
President Biden has just announced another 6 trillion-dollar rescue package to help out citizens and kickstart the economy in the US. Additionally, most developed nations have now reached inflation levels above target. Just yesterday, the ECB published numbers for the eurozone above the 2% target in 19 countries. A spokesperson was cautioning that while this rise was expected, we might well see inflation hit 2,5% later this year.

At the exchange, we continued listing new digital assets, hosted competitions and AMAs. We’ve also integrated with SumSub to make our KYC process smoother and easier to complete. Read on for more.
Listings
We listed many new assets nearly daily this month so that we won’t get into each of them deep, but here are a few of our highlights.
Illuvuim
Illuvium is bringing the first AAA video game to the chain. The team combines high-quality game avatars with a vast array of landscapes players can discover, NFTs, and the best of blockchain. With the native ILV token, players can make payments in-game and participate in governance, to decide on the game's future.
Tornado Cash
With crypto pushing more into the mainstream, chain analysis is getting more sophisticated, enabling companies to track a wallet address to the individual behind it. This makes privacy solutions more interesting. Just remember when Biden announced a plan that involved having to disclose all crypto transactions over $10 k and suddenly, Monero was rallying. Not a coincidence. Tornado Cash is offering a privacy solution for ERC-20 tokens that allows traders to maintain their financial privacy. More on that here.
Student Coin
In the second week of May, we listed STC, the token of the Studentcoin platform. Studentcoin is working on increasing the adoption of blockchain technology by increasing educational offers and giving anyone a platform to benefit from the tokenization of assets. Anyone creating a token on Studentcoin will be able to list it on the StudentCoin exchange against STC. STC is now also trading on our exchange with BTC, ETH, and USDT pairs.
BitcoinVend
BitcoinVend brings together crypto and real-life utility by combining a marketplace, an exchange, and a payments solution all in one app. With BitcoinVend anyone can easily get started using crypto to buy and sell products and services. The native BCVT token is trading with USDT and ETH on our exchange.
SHIB
With all the hype around Memecoins, we decided to list SHIB, the token of a cute Shiba Inu that’s aiming to be a better Doge. Created by an anonymous developer, Shib has grown a community of over 300,000 holders who continue pushing the token forward.
GamerHash Listing
The average user only uses 15% of their available computing power. This is especially wasteful when the pc used is a powerful gaming pc. GamerHash has set out to enable gamers and normal PC users to utilize their gaming power to earn crypto. As most early adopters are not from the world of crypto, the platform pays out only in BTC or an on-platform stablecoin GUSD that can be used for purchases in the GamerHash store. The native token of Gamerhash, GHX is now trading on our exchange.
Superbid
If you’ve not heard of Paul Logan yet, you must have spent the last few days under a rock. The fight between him and Paul Mayweather has been all over Social Media. What a youtube has to do with a blockchain project? Superbid is building a platform that disrupts the existing business model of Social Media by combining it with influencer-led auctions and crypto. On SuperBid, influencers can auction their personal items, experiences, or NFTs to their fanbase. This brings fans closer to their idols while tapping into our natural play instincts.
Pre-launch, more than 10,000 future users have already signed up and popular influencers like Paul Logan are supporting Superbid as brand ambassadors. The SUPERBID token is now trading on our exchange and to learn more about their platform, join our upcoming AMA with their COO Max Gross.
Trading Competitions & other Promotions
Throughout May we hosted various trading competitions with prize pools of up to $15,000 in different cryptocurrencies.
We also gave away $500 in stablecoin on Bitcoin Pizza Day so our winners are hopefully enjoying some Pizza or investing their stablecoin into appreciating assets.
Currently, we’re running a $15,000 GHX and a $15,000 SuperBid trading competition. Both tokens have performed well in the last few days, with SuperBid up more than 100% from the price last week, hitting $9,97 today.
GamerCoin isn’t slacking either, as the price increased 33% in the last 24 hours putting it among one of the best performers in a market that continues trading sideways.
AMAs
We also hosted various AMAs with teams of different blockchain and crypto companies including Studentcoin and BitcoinVend. You can find summaries of the AMAs if you click on the AMA tab in our publication.
